H.I.I.T

Description: These 40-minute classes are designed for adults who are training regularly.

Benefits: This type of training challenges the whole body and involves repeated bursts of high intensity effort, followed by varied recovery times. H.I.I.T improves cardiovascular fitness, body composition and cardiometabolic health! We do not recommend this class for people who are beginners to exercise, but as you get fitter this is a great class to aim for.

Instructor: This live class will be predominantly instructed by Anne Kavanagh (Monday) and Olivia Sheerin (Wednesday) but on occasion another instructor from the True Fitness team may step in due to annual leave or unforeseen circumstances.

Library: If for some reason you miss a live class you can catch up with one of the prerecorded sessions in your library by clicking HERE.

Important advice for our members: If you are a beginner to exercise, we advise that you leave a full rest day between classes for the first 1-2 weeks of training to allow your body to recover and adapt. The exception to this is the 'Flex and Move' class. This class can enhance recovery from exercise, so you can take part in this on your “rest day”.

If you are accustomed to exercise, we advise you to take part in only one class per day. The exception to this is the 'Flex and Move' class. This class can enhance recovery from exercise, so you are welcome to take part in this even after completing a different class. In fact, we would highly recommend it at least once per week!

Please note, a chair may be required for some exercises performed in the EduFIT classes, e.g. sit to stand. Please make sure your chair is stable before use.
